Third grade teams worked to put Frankenstein back together
by solving puzzles and clues. Students soon realized that in order to open the
locks they had to listen to all of the members in the group.
Scientists experimented with different ways to keep a keep a house from blowing away. This lesson was part of our new Weather and Natural Hazards unit. Currently, third graders are are collecting data on the local temperature, precipitation and wind speed. They're also learning the difference between weather and climate.
December 12th third graders will meet with a meteorologist
from the National Weather Service in Gray!
